I cant believe Reese is now 4 years old, time flies when your having fun. His a little man but sometimes talks like an adult. I asked him to do something the other day and he looked at me and said ‘say please’….cheeky monkey.
So the run up to his party who to invite what to cook etc. He has 2 parties a family celebration and then a Wacky Warehouse friends celebration. Both relatively small birthdays but the same amount of stress. Family party would love to invite everyone but Reese is not familiar with all members so what’s the point? I believe he should enjoy his birthday with the people he sees often and is familiar with or at least know their names. In the Asian culture when you invite one person you have to invite everyone. So anyway kept it small the main thing is he really enjoyed himself.
The smile and the excitement of his birthday is great to see but he was in complete hyper mode the whole time. Anyone would have thought he had a whole bag of sweets for breakfast!
Its likely to be his last birthday in the UK if we decide to go for the OZ move, so it was special and important. In OZ he will have parties filled with only friends no family which is sad but in the grand scheme of things might still be worth doing.
